Technology Transfer
Licensing and transferring our patented forestry technologies and expertise to global partners.
A higher level of cooperation in which we share complete cultivation technologies, technical expertise, and know-how for propagation and plantation management under a licensing agreement. As our varieties are patent-protected, propagation is permitted only with a valid license. Each agreement is tailored to the partner’s specific objectives and local conditions. We are actively seeking partners interested in entering licensing collaborations to expand the reach of our sustainable forestry technologies globally.
Climate Change Mitigation & Adaptation
Sustainable forestry ensuring carbon removal, climate resilience, and long-term environmental stability.
Carbon Sequestration
We remove atmospheric carbon dioxide through sustainable forestry and the production of high-quality industrial timber and durable wood products that ensure long-term carbon storage. Our varieties can be used for establishing plantations that qualify for carbon removal certification under strict and recognized international standards, including biochar-based carbon removal. Plantations may serve multiple purposes ranging from global development project implementation and corporate carbon removal or sustainability initiatives, to individual planting projects aimed at contributing to long-term carbon sequestration.
Climate Resilience
Our mission is to expand forest cover capable of withstanding the adverse effects of climate change. Through plantation forestry with selectively bred varieties, we establish stands that will thrive even under future conditions where many traditional species may fail. We focus on drought-tolerant varieties that perform well on low-quality soils and are resistant to pests and diseases across diverse climatic zones.
Forestation and Agroforestry
Establishing forests and agroforestry systems enhancing biodiversity, soil, and rural resilience.
We establish plantations in designated forest cultivation areas and support forest renewal projects, including protective forest belts, windbreaks, urban green belts, and livestock shading systems. Our selectively bred Black Locust and White Willow varieties are ideal for agroforestry, providing pollinator support, honey production, livestock shade, and nitrogen enrichment while enhancing land productivity and resilience. We offer site-specific guidance to ensure compliance with local forestry regulations and optimal plantation performance.
Industrial Wood Plantations
These plantations are established using intensive cultivation methods and varieties specifically propagated for high-quality industrial wood production. The goal is to produce premium hardwood in the shortest possible time. While these projects require greater initial investment due to the cost of vegetative propagation material, the yield and return on investment are substantially higher than with conventional species.
Our company provides exclusive, high-yielding varieties ideally suited for such plantations, including Black Locust ‘Turbo Obelisk’ and Salix alba ‘Corvinus’.
Energy (Biomass) Plantations
Renewable biomass production on marginal lands without competing with food agriculture.
These plantations are typically established on marginal or unarable land that is unsuitable for food production, ensuring they do not compete with agricultural crops. They provide a sustainable way to produce renewable biomass for energy, such as woodchips and firewood while also restoring degraded soils and enhancing local ecosystems.
For this purpose, we recommend our Salix alba ‘Corvinus’ and ‘Turbo’ Black Locust varieties, both offering rapid growth, strong adaptability, and early harvest potential to achieve sustainable and efficient biomass yields.
